Glen Shee ... Apr 2005
The Cairnwell -Carn Aosda - Carn a'Gheoidh

A somewhat depressing walk with the first couple of hills destroyed by the ski industry, only when I got as far as Carn a'Gheoidh did I consider myself to be in the hills. A sad thought really that in the next few years many of our wild places will be similarly destroyed by the Scottish Executive with their bloody wind farms.

A welcome site, the snow storm of the previous night had forced me to park up here.

A lower level start, but worth the extra ascent to avoiding the Glen Shee "Sculpture Park" (whatever that might be)
