Bla Bheinn ... Apr 2005
Bla Bheinn

An easy short walk on a warm windless spring day, the type of day you can spend hours on the tops, and I did, a rare event for Skye! Although sunny with blue skies all day, a thick and persistent haze spoilt any descent views of the main Cuillin ridge. My route took in Bla Bheinns spectacular souther ridge.

A now rare Vanessa Tube graces the summit of Bla Bheinn, this model of trig point
having had big problems with being destroyed by lightening strikes (apparently?)
