Aonach Mor ... Jan 06
Aonach Mor, - Aonach Beg

The forecast predicted extensive cloud cover in the east but little to none west of the A9. First light told a different story, cloud covered the tops, it looked as it may turn out be a disappointing day ......

Passing through the beautiful Caledonian woodland that separates the derivable part of Glen Nevis and the wilder country beyond.

The narrow ridge that joins the two Aonachs. Waves of cloud were spilling from left to right over this bealach. Within a matter of minutes it would change from thick mist to clear skies then back to thick mist, a spectacular situation.
