Heading
towards Aonach Beag. The cloud permanently on the move, the cloud would
fill the bealach as above then suddenly vanish as in the next picture.
Show route map |

|
The
narrow ridge that joins the two Aonachs. Waves of cloud were spilling
from left to right over this bealach. Within a matter of minutes it would
change from thick mist to clear skies then back to thick mist, a spectacular
situation.

What
a contrast, from the warm spring like day on the top to the cold hard
raw feel that is the norm in our hills during the winter.
